I am a new customer, am I still able to order via website?
Yes! As long as you are in the clock industry you are welcome to shop. Please ensure that you include a billing address, shipping address (if different), and contact details for followup.
If you are a new customer with our company, we will provide an official Customer Number on your invoice with shipment. Please reference that Customer Number at checkout in future orders.
I’m an existing customer. Where do I include my Customer Number?
At checkout , please select “NO” when asked if a New Customer (even if it’s the first time using this website). A box to enter Customer Number will appear.
Why doesn’t it ask me for Payment at checkout?
Payments are manually processed on a completely separate POS platform after the order has been received. We will use the credit card on file associated with your account. If you are a NEW customer, we will followup for credit card details. Please include best phone number for payment contact. Total purchase price will include total price at Checkout plus Shipping minus applicable Discounts. Visit the Shipping page for Shipping rates/info.
Because we do not accept payments online, your payment information is never stored on this website.
Are there alternative ways to order from Butterworth Clocks?
Yes! There are a variety of ways to order. Visit the Contact Us page for email, phone, and fax details. The easiest way to order outside of the website is to use our interactive Order Form which also doubles as a price list for all movements.
How do I create an Account?
If you are a NEW customer, follow these steps:
1) Click “Address” on left side
2) Click “Edit” above information listed
3) Click “Yes” when asked if a “New Customer”
4) Fill out Billing address. Click “Save”.
5) Click “Account Details” on left side. Confirm that First/Last Name, Email Address, and other info is listed.
6) You’re done! All info should automatically populate at checkout.
Once you receive a Customer Number from us after your first order (will be notated on invoice with product), log
back into your account and follow these steps:
1) Click “Address” on left side
2) Click “Edit” above information listed
3) Click “No” when asked if a “New Customer”
4) A new box should appear for “Customer Number”. Enter your Customer Number and click “Save”.
5) You’re done! This information should now populate at checkout during subsequent orders.
If you are an EXISTING customer with a Customer Number, follow these steps:
1) Click “Address” on left side
2) Click “Edit” above information listed
3) Click YES under “New Customer” (you will edit this later!)
4) Fill out Billing address. Click “Save”.
5) Click “Edit”, again, above the newly posted information
6) Click “No” when asked if “New Customer”
7) A new box should appear for “Customer Number”. Enter your Customer Number and click “Save”.
8) Click “Account Details” on left side. Confirm that First/Last Name, Email Address, and other info is listed.
9) You’re done! All info should automatically populate at checkout.
